Gingerbread House Class

Yesterday I took the girls to a gingerbread house class that I signed them up for at Michael’s.

Here they are at work and having fun! Bernadette, the instructor, was entertaining the students with her funny stories:) The girls and I love Bernadette!

Check out Susu’s tree. She did an awesome job! Her piping skills keep getting better and better. Keep it up Susu!!

This was Suraya’s first time piping leaves. Very good start Suraya!

Almost getting there!

By the end of the class, the roof wasn’t dry enough to put on top, so the girls had to finish the roofs at home. Ssh, don’t tell anyone, I hot glued Suraya’s roof together (hehe). Don’t worry folks, no one will be eating it! Suraya, then finished off the decorating… and TA DA.. All done! This is no ordinary gingerbread house, it’s a cookie jar gingerbread house! The roof is removable!

Susu didn’t finish hers, but when she does she may share it on her blog. I sure hope she does;)

Since I couldn’t get a good picture for you last night, I took a better one this morning:) Suraya did a fabulous job, don’t you think!!

Thanks for stopping by ya’ll! Wishing you Happy Holidays to you and your loved ones!!

Will be linking at these parties as always:)

How fun! I love the ice cream come pine trees. Your daughters are all kinds of talented... I wonder where they got that from?!

The trees are so clever - the house is beyond my reach in the kitchen - but I could make these trees as a stand alone item! - thanks for sharing!
