Fabric Scraps Gift Box

I can’t believe it’s already mid-week! Yikes. I have to confess I’ve been a bit of a slacker in the craft department for the past few days. Instead I’ve just been chilling and getting into some good books. But that doesn’t mean I don’t have anything to share with you. :)

Today I’m going to share a project that I actually put together some time ago using my fabric scrap stash. Yup, another usage for that mountain of scraps.

Gift boxes! They are just paper mache boxes covered with fabric scraps. The fabric was just simply glued on from end to end.

I filled these up with some Oreo truffles… un-dipped truffles that were just rolled in Oreo crumbs. Yum!

But other than treats, they are cute for any sort of gift. No need for gift wrapping. Just finish off with a ribbon bow and tag. What’s also nice is that the boxes can be kept as a keepsake.

Love to hear your thoughts so type away y’all! I’m off to do some more reading. ;)

What a great gift! I love that you added fabric to the boxes. It gives it a one of a kind look. So thoughtful...especially filled with treats!

Pretty :-) And I bet they are nice and soft. Good no sewing is involved because I cannot sow. This would be a good one to do with my kids.

Adorable, as usual! I have a MOUNTAIN of scraps from sewing the Kindle and iPad cases, so I'm always looking for great projects to utilize what I have! This may be added to my list of baby items to use my scraps on :)

So cute! Love this idea! I have a ton of tiny scraps that are too small to use on anything else!
