More Valentine’s Day Ideas

Valentine’s Day is only a few days away. Just in case you were looking for more ideas, I thought I’d share just a few more.

Mustache and Lips Valentine's Lollipops

I’m always a sucker (no pun intended!) for mustache crafts, so of course I loved these mustache and lips lollipops when I first saw them over at Blonde Designs. I made them two years ago for Susu’s and Suraya’s classmates. The mustache and lips were cut out of foam and the lollipops were poked right through the foam. They were a big hit then, and I’m sure they still would be now. Blonde Designs has a free PDF available for the mustache and lips in case you need it, along with cute tags.

Stamped Conversation Heart Cookies

I had a couple inquiries about stamping cookies on royal icing rather fondant. Yes, you can! I made these conversation cookies last year for Suraya’s teachers, but this is the first time I share them. Original source for the idea was Martha Stewart. Just a couple tips: When stamping on royal icing you may need to rock your stamp to get the image fully on the cookie.  Also, be careful with the size of your stamp; since royal icing is not as flat as fondant it may be more difficult to get the full image.

Sew in Love Valentine Packages
