More Valentine’s Day Ideas

Valentine’s Day is only a few days away. Just in case you were looking for more ideas, I thought I’d share just a few more.

Mustache and Lips Valentine's Lollipops

I’m always a sucker (no pun intended!) for mustache crafts, so of course I loved these mustache and lips lollipops when I first saw them over at Blonde Designs. I made them two years ago for Susu’s and Suraya’s classmates. The mustache and lips were cut out of foam and the lollipops were poked right through the foam. They were a big hit then, and I’m sure they still would be now. Blonde Designs has a free PDF available for the mustache and lips in case you need it, along with cute tags.

Stamped Conversation Heart Cookies

I had a couple inquiries about stamping cookies on royal icing rather fondant. Yes, you can! I made these conversation cookies last year for Suraya’s teachers, but this is the first time I share them. Original source for the idea was Martha Stewart. Just a couple tips: When stamping on royal icing you may need to rock your stamp to get the image fully on the cookie.  Also, be careful with the size of your stamp; since royal icing is not as flat as fondant it may be more difficult to get the full image.

Sew in Love Valentine Packages

You may recall my Sew in Love Valentine’s that I made last year. Who doesn’t love cute packaging?  Cute packaging can make any simple treat more special.

Blog land is filled with adorable and fun Valentine’s Day ideas. Tons of inspiration out there folks. So get a move on if you still haven’t finished your Valentine’s!

I love Valentine's day and all the adorable things you can make. You shared some cute ones, some I've seen (the lips and mustache) and some I haven't. If only Valentine's weren't just a few days away :)
