Cupcake Baking & Decorating

Suraya and I joined our friends Veronica, Victoria, and Valerie (yup, that’s 3 V’s!) for some baking fun… and of course decorating!

Meet our little bakers [slash] decorators….

Suraya & Victoria

The mischievous two, Victoria and Suraya….

And the sweet one, Valerie.

These girls mean business when it comes to cupcakes!

Toasting Coconut

They were completely in charge (except us moms had oven duty).

S&V Baking

First came the mixing…

Baking Mess

Then came the mess… er um… the filling.  Check out those hands!

Powdered Sugar Mess

More mess! Okay, maybe we can’t blame the girls for this one. Haha! Veronica and I were in charge of the frosting… and we had a little oops. Sshh. ;)

Victoria and Suraya were in charge of the chocolate cupcakes which included a Cadbury Egg center…. caramel and fondant creme filling.

Valerie was in charge of the yellow cupcakes with the pink lemonade frosting…. with the help of mom.

After a brief tutorial on how to ice the cupcakes, the girls were off…

Bird's Nest Cupcakes

Using toasted coconut and candy eggs for the bird nest cupcakes… and Peeps too! Look at them going to work!

Pink Lemonade Cupcakes

After piping on her pink lemonade frosting with bunny ears, Valerie decided to join Victoria and Suraya in decorating some of the chocolate cupcakes…

Valerie's cupcake delight

and made her own creation… Valerie’s Cupcake Delight… as she likes to call it!

Spring Cupcakes

Bird's Nest Cupcakes with Cadbury Egg Center

Come join the girls for some cupcakes… a bird’s nest cupcake with a Cadbury Egg center and a yellow cupcake with pink lemonade frosting … or if you prefer a Cupcake Delight, I’m sure Valerie will be more than happy to make one just for you!
