Ramadan is almost over and Eid is fast approaching. Usually I’m on top of it when it comes to the Eid gifts, treats, decorating, etc. I admit I have been procrastinating a bit this year, but I have about two weeks to go so I have a little bit of time to get my act together. One of my go to online sources for Eid gift and treat packaging is Silver Envelope. I was first introduced to this company a few years ago, and it was the first company I’ve come across with a refreshing take on Islamic celebrations. Some of my favorite products that I have purchased from them are the greeting cards, wrapping paper, pencils, and the stickers. For the little ones, the color-in greeting cards were amongst my faves as well as the pencils being a great addition to the favors. Recently Silver Envelope has added new products targeting the little ones. Amongst these products is an Eid party kit. It’s a party in a box! It comes in three different designs.
And looky here… Silver Envelope sent me my very own party in a box!
It includes: gift wrapping paper with gift tags and twine, greeting cards, invitations, cookie cutter with cookie bags and ribbon, glassine bags with sticker seals, “Happy Eid” bunting banner with twine, cupcake wrappers with DIY cupcake toppers, buttons, balloons, paper chain kit, and a pin-it game.
This is how I used my kit of goodies…
I created a little sweet center.
I used the glassine bags with the sticker seals to package my cookies and borrowed the twine from the gift wrapping kit to wrap around the bags. Cute and simple packaging!
I took the gift wrapping paper and the left over sticker seals to create candy bar wrappers. Silver Envelope’s gift wrapping paper is thick so they were just perfect to use as candy bar wrappers.
I used the DIY cupcake toppers for my mini cupcakes. The toppers are made using a toothpick and sticker. No glueing necessary… just stick on the toothpicks and voila!
Whoever said that cupcake wrappers could only be used for cupcakes? I used mine to embellish my jars of milk. They were the perfect fit! Just place some double sided tape at the lower end of the jar; you just need a couple small pieces on two of the sides. The straws were my own.
Last, but not least, is the “Happy Eid” banner that I used as the background of my sweet center.
Now the only thing left for me to do is to send some invitations out to some little ones to come and enjoy my little sweet center. Thanks Silver Envelope!
