The Good One

How scary would it be to have a costume-less kid on Halloween?  Let’s not dare to find out! The kid in question… Suraya! It’s not that I’ve been procrastinating. I promise. I just hadn’t had the chance to get the material I need. Not much material is needed really. I could give you a million and one reasons, but Halloween is next week, so there is no time for excuses! This year’s costume is quite a simple one, and will be done in no time!

DIY Halloween Costumes

I love putting together Suraya’s costumes…. and she loves it when I do. Thus far, neither one of us has been disappointed. So I hope I don’t disappoint this year either!

If you follow me on Facebook, you might have a hint of what Suraya is going to be this year. If not, here’s a hint for ya…

It’s a simple twist to a traditional Halloween costume. Some may think it’s scary, but with this twist we are going funky!

The Good Witch Shirt

I made a top to go along with her costume. I made the top with the help of my Silhouette using fabric and interfacing.

I told my Silhouette what I wanted… and it did the cutting for me.

The Good One Halloween Top

All I had to do is iron on the cut outs and top stitch. And that’s all there is to it…

To the top part of the costume, that is.  In the next post, I will show you the rest which is as simple as the top!

Can you guess what Suraya will be this Halloween?

Don’t be scared… type away! ;)

I love that she still wants you to make her costumes. I love what you've done so far. I can't wait to see the bottom. I need to get started on Grace. I've been procrastinating :)

That's hilarious and adorable! I found your costume project over at The Inspiration Exchange party.
