Winter Decorating

It’s time to get ready for winter!

White Winter Mantel

Out went the fall decor and in came the winter decor!

Old Window Winter Decor

In my previous post, I shared my latest old windows all decked out for the winter season.

While Wearing Heels Snow Covered Trees

And joining my mantel is my newest crush…. A duo of snow covered trees made out of reclaimed old barn wood. Aren’t they so cool?! I purchased them from While Wearing Heels Etsy Shop which belongs to one of my favorite people, Amy of While Wearing Heels blog.

Winter Decor with Wood Coasters

Along came with them as a wonderful surprise were these wood coasters! Just because Amy is awesome like that!!

I adore Amy and her blog. If you are not familiar with her blog, I advise that you hop on over immediately and start exploring! I promise, you will fall in love with Amy and all her amazing creations over at While Wearing HeelsYou must see what this lady can do with felt! Also, if you want a tree set of your own, you can find them in her Etsy shop.

Winter Decorating with Faux Snow

To keep with the white theme, I turned my original window around, did a quick paint job in white, and shabbied it up a bit. Then sprayed it with some faux snow.

Remember these rummage sale carafe finds which were first debuted in my fall mantel? One still holds the felted acorns I made, and the second is now filled with some snow (aka Epsom salt ;)).

My mantel may say brrr but my buffet cabinet maintains a warmer touch…

Warm & Rustic Winter DecorOut went the pumpkins, and in went the pinecones. Also, my cuddly no sew velvet snowmen moved in along with some yarn snowballs taking their place on my galvanized cake stand. Some cinnamon sticks and cinnamon whisks filled the once wheat filled milk jug. Lastly, a new addition is the delicate touch of a coffee filters and old book page layered snowflake.

Winter Coffee Table Centerpiece

Of course my coffee table centerpiece is now sporting a winter look too where you’ll find some peppermint candy along with my favorite winter candle.

Now that the decorating is done, I’m ready to enjoy this winter season!
