Milk Bath & Cookie Scrub {Valentine’s Day}

I’ve been having fun putting together some valentines. In case you missed my latest Valentine’s Day creations, be sure to check them out HERE. Today I have another one for you. This one is all about pampering your valentine with milk and cookies… spa style!

Milk Bath and Cookie Scrub Valentine Basket

I put together a little milk bath and cookie scrub gift basket for Suraya’s teacher. Initially I had thought of just making a sugar scrub alone and was planning on going pink for Valentine’s Day until I came across this Oatmeal Coconut Cookie Scrub from Smart School House Rock.  An idea was born… or shall I say inspired. ;)

Milk and Cookie Valentine Spa Basket

I just couldn’t resist making a milk and cookie themed gift!

Cookie Scrub and Milk Bath Recipes

Both the milk bath and cookie scrub were super easy to make. I did use the cookie scrub recipe from Smart School House Rock but had to double it for my 8 oz bottle.

The milk bath was adapted from Coordinately Yours. I didn’t have essential oil on hand, and after some investigating I used baking flavoring instead because that’s what I had on hand. I went with creamy hazelnut. Yum!

To make the milk bath, you combine 1 cup powdered milk, 1/4 cup cornstarch, 1/4 cup baking soda, and 1/8 teaspoon flavoring. After mixing the dry ingredients together, add the flavoring and mix well.

Both were done in a matter of minutes!

Valentine Washi Tape Berry BasketI also couldn’t resist creating a cute basket decked out in washi tape and little wooden spoons in place of scoopers.

Valentine's Scrub and Milk Bath Teacher Gift Basket

Milk sure does heart Cookie. I hope Suraya’s teacher will heart her gift. ;)
