I’m Hooked on You {Purse Hook Valentine}

The Sharpie mugs I shared in the last post were supposed to be the last of this year’s Valentine’s Day ideas that I had for you.

Target Valentine's Purse Hook

That was until I saw this purse hook in Target’s bargain section over the weekend. It wasn’t my first time coming across them, but it wasn’t until this last trip that a light bulb went off! If you haven’t figured it out by now, I am a sucker for cute word play phrases.. especially for Valentine’s! So I couldn’t resist and just had to share with you all one more Valentine’s idea. :D

Nothing fancy needed to be done… just some simple changes to the packaging.

Target Purse Hook

I cut off the top portion of the cardboard sheet to remove the price.

Hooked On You Valentine's Purse Hook

Using Valentine’s scrapbook paper, I made a tag and taped it on with double sided tape. Then stamped my pun phrase.

Lastly, I replaced the silver twisty ties with pink twine.

And that’s it!

Hooked on You Purse Hook Valentine's

If you want to customize it, you can do that too! All it took was a small piece of scrapbook paper and some Mod Podge.

I think I’m hooked! What about you?

I could say this is my last idea for this year’s Valentine’s Day, but I guess you never know! ;)

    what a cute and must say; a Very Clever idea.
    I haven't seen those hooks but then again I hardly ever go to Target; only to dump our recyclables. I'm in and out and that's just about it for me in the Target store.

    What a great idea, you would never know that part of it was the original packaging! I need to get one of these because I always keep my bag in my lap while at restaurants and it's just so awkward!
